General Information

What are your hours of operation?

Our retail space is open Thursday and Friday from 11am-6pm, Saturday from 10am-5pm, and Sunday from 11am - 4pm. We offer local delivery Tuesday - Friday, we do not deliver on Saturday (Pick Up orders only!). Pick up orders can be placed for during our retail hours, Thursday - Sunday.

Where are you located?

We are located in the heart of the Lakewood neighborhood in Durham, NC. Our shop is on the corner of Lakewood Ave and Chapel Hill Rd in the historic Roll's Florist building. Look for the orange door!

Where do you source your flowers?

We use 100% locally grown flowers and foliage during the growing season in North Carolina, which typically lasts from late February until November depending on the weather. These flowers come from farms located in the surrounding three counties, many of which are female and family owned and operated. We are currently the largest buyer of local flowers in the area and shopping with us ensures your money goes right back into the pocket of our local farmers.

What is available in store?

Our flower bar is stocked daily with fresh, locally grown flowers available by the stem. Build your own bouquet or have a member of our team create something custom for you. We also carry a large variety of tropical houseplants, ceramics, housewares, candles & home fragrances. There's usually incense burning, and music is always playing. Come hang out!  

Orders & Delivery

When and where do you deliver?

We offer local delivery Tuesday - Friday to Durham, Chapel Hill and Carrboro.

What happens if I place a delivery order for a Saturday?

Currently, we do not deliver on Saturdays. Saturday will be available as an option on the delivery date calendar so local customers can place pick up orders. Please be sure to select Local Pick Up at check out if you are placing an order for a Saturday. If a delivery order is placed on a Saturday, it will be sent out on the following Tuesday, our next delivery day.

Is there a delivery fee?

Our delivery fee is dependant upon your zip code. For downtown Durham zip codes our delivery fee is $14. For other Durham and Chapel Hill zip codes our delivery fee is $20.

Do you accept same day orders?

We accept same day delivery orders until noon EST. If you're trying to place an order for Pick Up after noon EST, please call us!

When can I expect my order to be delivered or ready for pick up?

We do not guarantee exact delivery times, but you can expect your delivery between 12pm-5pm. You will recieve a notification via text or email when your order is out for delivery and when it has been delivered to the recipient.

We accept pick up orders for during our retail hours Thursday - Sunday. If you placed an order for Pick Up, you will recieve a text or email notification when it's ready. Head over to the shop any time before we close to pick up!

If you cannot pick up during our retail hours, please opt for local delivery.

A La Carte Ordering

What is A La Carte Ordering?

Our A La Carte menu was created to provide an affordable, stress free alternative to floral design for special events. It's perfect for weddings, dinners, showers, or any other important occasion!

How does it work?

Build your cart on our online store and select your desired color palette. Since we work with seasonal, locally grown flowers, specific florals can't be promised but we will do our best to accomodate any special requests.

Then, select your Pick Up date (we always recommend to pick up the day of the event to ensure the longevity of your flowers), and check out. Our team will be in touch to schedule a Pick Up time with you.

On the day of your event, just head to the shop at your scheduled Pick Up time. Your order will be packaged to safely transport it to your destination, and our team will help you load everything into your vehicle. Be sure to clear off a level space in your vehicle to ensure a smooth ride for your flowers!

What's the difference between A La Carte and Full Service Wedding Florals?

A La Carte ordering is perfect for events of all sizes and does not require a minimum. It does not include consultations with our team, professional set up and breakdown, or any installation work.
